Flight Training

If you are just now taking your first steps into the aviation world, we would suggest beginning by reading our owner's eBook "Learn To Fly". You can find it on Amazon here. Alternatively, you can just come on by the hangar and take an introductory flight, and we'll explain everything you need to know.

Introductory Flight: $232.00 Special! only $149.00

A great place to begin! Feel free to bring a friend along in the back seat at no extra cost! You and an instructor will talk about the aircraft and the four basic flight maneuvers for about 15 - 20 minutes on the ground, then you'll head out to the airplane and do a pre-flight inspection (where you'll be introduced to the cockpit and the various parts of the aircraft). You'll spend about 30 minutes in the air. Your instructor will point out major landmarks on the ground, and you can try to find your neighborhood if you want to. At a safe altitude, you'll be given the opportunity to take the controls. You can fly as much as you want, but don't worry, your instructor will handle the landing (this time)! After landing and shutting down the engine, you'll have an opportunity to ask your instructor any questions you have about flying or learning to fly.

From start to finish, you will have a full two hours (flight and ground) with a flight instructor. This is much more than most flight schools offer for intro flights. We want you to have the time to really get the feel for what training will be like and be able to have all your questions answered. Intro flights make great gifts. (Gift certificates are available.)

Flight Instruction: $70.00 / hour (instructor only, airplane rental is additional)

Our instructors are the best pilots, best teachers, and best people around! Learning to fly is hard work, but can be a lot of fun. There is no greater freedom than being able to fly.

Ground Instruction: $70.00 / hour (instructor only)

Airplanes are expensive, and cockpits aren't the best teaching enviroments, so you'll want to spend as much time learning on the ground in the comfort of the indoors as possible! We respect your time and money and want to train you as efficiently as possible.
